AFSA's team structure consists of two specific categories of roles. All people apart of the AFSA team are either members of the committee or members of the events volunteer groups. The committee team role includes our President and Vice-President, Treasurer and our Directors of Engagement, Social Media and Events. The events volunteer roles are much smaller role for extra assistance during the planning stages of our upcoming events.

Committee role
The AFSA committee is the heart of the organisation that keeps AFSA afloat. The committee is responsible for planning and organising events, outreaching to the community, ensuring that our broader African community is represented and more! AFSA is always looking for new committee members to enter this role and make AFSA what it was ultimately always meant to be, I place by African Students past and present, for African Students past, present and future.

Volunteer Role
AFSA takes on a group of Volunteers to aid in our general event planning. Whilst these individuals do not have a specific committee role they are crucial in ensuring smooth operations throughout all our events. This role is much more flexible than the committee role and requires a much smaller time commitment.
